Hi! Firstly, thanks for looking. My name is Claire and I come from the U.K. I am the main driving force behind Bookaholic PR. I do have some help though, which I'll tell you more about a little later on.
It is my aim to make an authors life easier. To take care of the menial tasks for you so you can carry on writing all the beautiful words without distraction. I am offering all the services which I am capable of providing at launch, but aim to provide many more in the near future. It is my aim to offer any and all services that an author would require in one, easy to find place. I also aim to make my pricing as affordable as possible and transparent at all times.
I am an avid reader and blogger myself. I have been blogging for nearly four years. My love of books made me take English in further education. I took a degree in English Literature & Creative Writing, during which I interned at a small publishing house. I write and have done some ghost writing and developmental editing in the past. One day I hope to finish my own novel and my dream is to publish myself.
I have worked in management and have had experience running a business with my husband. I stopped doing this to become a carer for my husband who, through ill health, is now disabled. I have experience of many things including Excel, MS Word, Google Drive, Docs & Forms, HTML coding & website building, Outlook, Mail Chimp and other newsletter providers, plus social media marketing. I have worked in the public relations and branding side of business as well. I am even qualified in double entry bookkeeping.
I have a problem solving personality and an analytical mind. I am passionate about any task that I undertake and thorough.
Like I said, I'm the idea person behind this but I'm excited to welcome on board my two fantastic daughters. My oldest daughter is currently studying Art & Design and Graphic Design. She will be offering up her fantastic talents to make pre-made and custom designed book covers. She is currently working on designs and I can't wait to share them with you! Watch this space. I will have a dedicated cover page updated very soon.
My other daughter is like me with the organising and will be helping with the day to day running and admin duties. She also has an analytical mind and fantastic attention to detail. Together we make a pretty awesome team.
